You can join in defence sector by appearing the CDS exam. You have scope to join in army as well as in navy and in air force.

You can appear for PABT, UES, AFCAT exams to join in the air force or in navy.

The age limit to join in these sectors are as follows;

For an Engineering graduate in EIE branch , there are several ways to join in Defence services

1) UES exam - University entry scheme

You can apply for the UES exam to join in Defence services . You can apply for the exam even in the Third year of engineering .

The Defence minister will visits your college and conducts Written Test , Interview and Medical test .
The selected candidates will be assigned for the Officer Level posts


2) CDS exam - Combined Defence service exam

The exam conducts by UPSC 2 times in every year .
