Sir , With all due respect I would like to tell you that there are a numerous job available in the Indian Navy
for an mechanical engineer .
But before applying the cadre post in the Indian Navy you must go through the CDS Examination .
The CDS Examination is meant to explain the Common defence Service Examination .
So if you apply for this examination than you can enter the Indian Naval Academy for the courses and
after completing your course in the Indian Army you can apply for the cadre post in the Indian Army .
The above sentence mentioned is only for the male candidates .
And if you are female candidate of mechanical engineering graduation than you can apply only for
the Officer's training Academy of the CDS . And after completing your course in the OTA you can apply
for the Cadre post in the Indian Navy .
Now the male candidate applying for the Indian Naval Academy should be unmarried ,
and the female candidates applying for the OTA should also be unmarried .
Now , I would like to tell you what actually the CDS Examination is and who conducts it .
The CDS Examination is meant for all the graduates candidates of India .
This examination , is therefore conducted by the UPSC Government .
They conduct this Examination twice a year and it is conducted all over the India .
The candidates that apply for this examination should be Indian or a refugee of Asian countries
permanently and presently settled in India .
The age criteria for the male candidate applying for the Indian Naval Academy
is that there age should be between 19 to 22 .
And for the female candidates applying for the OTA should be aged between 19 to 25 years .
A male candidate can even apply for the OTA through the CDS Examination ,
but a female candidate can not apply for the Indian Naval Academy through the CDS examination .
But you can apply for the CDS Examination only when you are in your final year of
Mechanical engineering graduation or after completion your gradation .
That's it from me , Best of luck .
