    Dear friend,

The LASIK SURGERY Is allowed In case you are applying to Helicopter and Transport streams of Air force. However there is some conditions to followed which are as:

1.Lasik Surgery is not allowed before age 20 years.

2.Atleast wait for 12th after Lasik surgery to get it stable.

3.Axial length of eye should be less than 25.5mm

4.After Lasik surgery there should not be any consequences

5.Candidates with High refractive error >6D after Lasik surgery are not allowed.

    6.No Colour Blindness.
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------

There is no particular fixed percentage required in UES To appear for SSB Interview.Percentage required should depend on the vacancies and the Merit -list decided by Officials at that time only.

    Best luck!!

    Best luck!!

    hello,

    Yes Laser surgery is allowed
    but there are certain conditions:-
    > the laser surgery should not be carried out before 20 years of age
    > no complications history should be there and also 12months should have passed after the completion of the laser surgery
    > the post laser surgery corneal measurements should not be less than 450 microns
    > candidate should not suffer from color and night blindness
    > candidates with high refractive errors prior to laser treatment are to be rejected (>60)
