    hello mr.Patil
well i need to say that any caste reservation etc are only in terms of fee payment nt marks or cuttoff`s like there is for bank exams.
    this is defense services bro
    gotta be tight.
there is actually nothing like cut offs.
its like CAT exams and based on percentiles
once u give your NDA written UPSC takes out a minimum percentage as pass marks depending on vacancies no of applicants etc.
then if you make it to cleared list then based on the merit in written the board call thrice the number of vacancies for the SSB`s in order of merit.
u see no where is the word caste or reservation mentioned.
so i suggest u work very hard and get through
    good luck bro.

    Hello,

Well mate there is no benefit of caste system in the terms of selection. Like others you also have to try hard in order to pass the exam as competition now a days is very tough.
Also I would like to tell that there is nothing like Cut off Marks in NDA!
Each year UPSC sets minimum marks for the students depending upon the level of question paper and No. of applicant's.
And if you gets marks equivalent to that
You will be called up for the interview and further recruitment process.
    So mate,
    Good luck!

Friends, concepts of reservation policy, benefits to reserved category & cut off are only applicable to Non-defence recruitment examinations. But in defence recruitment examinations like NDA & CDS, there is no special benefit for any reserved category. The selection list is prepared totally on the merits and there is no any fixed reserved quota of seats for reserved category. As far as cut off is concerned, there is no any cut off specified by UPSC as yet. Generally UPSC fixed certain minimum qualifying marks in each section of written examination at his own discretion which depends upon the number of available vacancies. First of all, those candidate who are able to qualify in sectional cut off have also to make place in aggregate cut off. In short, candidate must have to make place in both sectional cut off and aggregate cut off.
