Re: Maximum permissible age in Civil Services for Defence personnel?

    Hi friend,

Without knowing the age of yours , nothing to say seriously. However I may guess you age, that it would be in between 30 to 33 years. Since most of the civil services require not more than age of 30 years(as in IAS) so you should seek for some relaxations.
As you didnt tell about the mode or scheme through which you retire hence again as per relaxation it is difficult to say. According to this you may get the relaxation of from 3 to 5 years. You may check it from here: www.upsc.gov.in
