educational qualification is sufficient, but you can't joint NSG directly as an officer. you have to be a part of either INDIAN ARMY or CPF (CISF, ITBP etc). Then only you may get a chance jo join NSG

Its all right and you can join NSG by this.
for NSG, you have to join army first of all.
then they take the physical, mental, psychological tests and you are selected for NSG.
    For joining army,
    1. Take CDSE exam: this exam is twice a year and ask questions of english, general awareness and maths.
    2. If you have NCC, then theres special entry.
    3. Join OTA in SSC non -tec.
    4. Go for Fast Track selection.

After joining the army, you need not worry, your degree is sufficient for NSG !!

    hello dear,,,

there is no separate selelction for NSG commando...
So,first thing you have to do is to join indian army=>
If u want to join as an officer, apply for UES)university entry scheme) exam which is held in pre-final year. You can apply online for UES exam by visiting www.joinindianarmy.nic.in....other than that you can appear for CDS exam(combined defence services) after your degree...

So,this was the way to join Indian Army as an officer.
otherwise you can also join as a recruit by applying to different recruitment camps organised by Indian Army.
Finally after joining , you can be NSG commando......and for this you should at least have following:
a)Medical "A" certificate in all categories
b)3 years of experience in indian army...
c)preference will be given to you if you have done some professional technical training...
d)"GOOD" in your ACR i.e similar to your character certificate...
thank you and all the best....hope you'll finad this information usefull...

    Friend,

NSG does not selects the candidates directly .Every year NSG government select the candidates from the different fields like the BSF,ITBF,CRPF etc..If you want to join the NSG then you have to first complete graduation and after the graduation join the any of the departments like BSF,ITBF,CRPF etc after making the solid career in these departments you have the opportunity to join the NSG

NSG stands for the National Security Guard

The candidates who which or Aim to join the National Security Guard then have to first have experience in the

    ** CIF Centrally Industrial Forces

    ** BSF Border Security Forces

** CRPF Central Reserve Police Force

** ITBF Indian Tibetan Border Forces

If you are from this department and have the good career then you will have the more chances to join the National Security Guard

In the NSG Department there are two different groups are present

    1) SAG Special Action Group

    2) SRG Special Rangers Group

Age Limit The Candidates age should not below 30 years

After you will undergo 14 months training in the

    Haryana

As said above you can not join the directly in order to join the NSG first you have to make good career in as said above departments.

    Thank You.
