YES OF COURSE.......

You can join in army after completing your engineering. While you are a Graduate you will get good jobs in the army.

But it is better to join in the air force than join in the army, because your education is suitable for the Air fore jobs.

You can appear for CDS exam to join in the army till your age 25. You can appear for AFCAT, PABT, UES exams to join in the air force till age of 23 years.

hello friend,As an engineering student,For joining Indian Army,there are two ways to apply
1: UES (university entry scheme)
2: EKT (Engineering Knowledge test)

University Entry Scheme (UES)-Permanent Commission (For Men only) for joining Air force.
Eligibility:B.Tech/BE(60%in aggregate till last semester.)
age-18-28 years.candidates below25 to un-married.
Advertisements are released in the month of February every year.


To join Indian Defence,you can go for NDA .The vacanicies are as follows:
VACANCIES PER COURSE: 300 (TWICE A YEAR)
Army- 195
Air Force-66
Navy-39
For this you can see the notifications in Employment News and leading Daily Newpaper in the months of March and October By UPSC.

To get eligible for Indian Air force through CDS(Combined Defence Service) Exam, you need to be a graduate and your Age should not be more than 23 years.As of now you are definitely Eligible for CDS exam to apply in.

CDS Exam is conducted 2 times in 1 academic year by UPSC.After clearing CDS Exam you are eligible for pre-commissioned training in one of the following training institutes of the respective branch you choose viz:
IMA & OTA(Army)
AFA(Air force)
NA(Navy)
Check the other eligibility conditions mentioned below:

IMA & OTA(Army)

You should be a graduate in any disciple from a recognized university.

Age limit is 19-24 years

You must be a citizen of INDIA.

AFA(Air force)

You should be a graduate with science stream with physics and Maths Compulsory Studied at 12th level B.tech from a recognized university.

Age limit is 19-23 years

You must be a citizen of INDIA.

NA(Navy)

You should be a B.sc graduate or B.tech from a recognized university.

Age limit is 19-22 years

You must be a citizen of INDIA.

You have completed B-TECH so you are eligible for CDSE ,UES and AFCAT exam.Details of those exams are given below.

COMBINED DEFENCE SERVICE EXAM(CDSE)

Those candidate are completed graduation are eligible for CDSE exam but 12 standard subject must be Math and Physics.

B-TECH ans BE student are also eligible for this exam .But you have not any Pending Backlog.

Final Year student are also eligible for CDSE exam.There is no percentage marks criteria.

AGE CRITERIA

Indian Military Academy - 19-24 Years
Air Force Academy - 19-23 Years
Naval Academy - 19-22 Years
Officer's Training Academy - 19-25 Years


UNIVERSITY ENTRY SCHEME ( UES)

he candidate must be currently studying in Pre-final year of BE / B Tech degree course in the relevant streams of engineering as mentioned above and must have secured minimum of 60% marks in aggregate .

But you have not any Pending Backlog.

AGE CRITERIA

Your age should be in between 18 to 28 years.

Both exam is conducted by UPSC so you can apply those exam through UPSC.

DETAILS ABOUT AFCAT EXAM

GROUND DUTY BRANCHES

AGE:20-27 years of age.
EDUCATION: Post graduation or Bachelor degree in any subject with at least 60% aggregate marks.

FLYING BRANCHES

AGE:19 years to 23 years.
EDUCATION:B.E / B.Tech degree or a Graduation in any discipline with minimum 60% aggregate marks.

TECHNICAL BRANCHES

AGE:18-28 years of age
EDUCATION:Aeronautical Engineering with minimum 60% marks.

FOR THE CDS EXAM:




The age limit for the CDS is:19 to 22 years and you must have done graduation or in the final year
of graduation.




You must be a citizen of INDIA and an Unmarried candidate.




FOR THE TECHNICAL ENTRY AFTER ENGINEERING:




For this entry you must be in the Pre-final year of engineering there they will come for one small interview and then they will directly call you for SSB if you are good to join INDIAN NAVY.




After completing graduation and in the final year of graduation also one form of technical entry comes(TGC) for the Graduate candidates.

for cds enterence exam - age limit -19-25 yrs


qualification - any degree from a recognised university or college..


application form - the application form will be available at your nearest head post office
forms are available in the month of jan-feb and
may-june.


exam - this exam helds twice a year in the month of march and july.


afetr passing the exam you will be called for ssb interviews.

You can join to Air force after completing your graduation by appearing the CDS exam.


The CDS exam is for graduates to join the Air Force.


The CDS exam is conducted by UPSC twice in a year.


After the CDS exam there will be SSB interview conducted to know the physical fitness of the candidates and for the personal details of the candidates.

The age limit to enter in to the air force is 19 – 23.


The height of the candidates should be 160 cm, Weight should be in proportion to the height.

There are a lot of opportunities are available in Indian Air force after completion of ETE.So you will get in Telecom operation Department or technical Department.So if you want join in Indian Air force you should have to give or write an entrance examination of CDS(Combined defence service examination).This exam is conducted by UPSC Two times in a year.The age limit for this examination 19-24 years
