    NDA

    After 12th
    Conducted twice in a year by UPSC.
    Test will be in AUGUST and February

    CDS

    After graduation
    Conducted by UPSC twice in a year
    Test will be in September and April.

    AFCAT

    Conducted twice in a year by Air Force
    After graduation(minimum 60%)
    Test will be in August and February

    Hi,

    To join defence there are different exams. All these exams are
    listed below with the brief introduction........

    S.No. Name Description
    1. NDA(National Defence Academy) : To join NDA you have to clear 10th and 12th with
    60% of aggregate. Graduates are not allowed. A
    written exam will be held which is objective and have
    Multiple choice questions. After passing the exam
    you will be called for the SSB where you will be
    judged mentally, medically and physically.

    2. UES(University entry scheme : To get selected in UES you have to attain 60%
    Aggregate in graduation. You must be a graduate
    and the UES helds in the third year of the gradua
    -tion only. You have only one chance to give the
    UES. Direct SSB is taken.

    3. TES(Technical entry scheme): It is the entry scheme for the students of techni
    -cal stream and you can appear for the scheme
    only if you are an undergraduate. Minimum 60%
    aggregate you should have in 10th and 12th. No
    graduates are allowed.

    4. TGC(Technical graduation : To appear in TGC you must be an engineer with
    no current backlogs. Direct SSB is taken.

    5. CDS(Central defence service): You must be a graduate and no current backlogs
    should be with you. A written exam is taken which
    is a set of multiple choice questions and based on
    general knowledge and common aptitude.

    will u plese tell me about all the different papers for defence and what are the tentative dates...........
