    Number of ways of entering in Indian Army, Navy, Air Force or any defence service on the basis of Technical Education?

    Pls tell me the how many ways of entering in Indian Army, Navy, Air Force or any Defence Services on the base of technical education [ITI, Diploma(3-year), Btech].

    Hi Dear,
    Number of ways of entering in Indian Army, Navy, Air Force or any defence services are as below -

    there are a lot many ways to enter into the elite cadre of the reputed defence forces and for a gradute they are as follows -

    Eligiblity is ::
    a graduate with minimum 65% and above in all its semisters can go for UES entry i.e university entry scheme..
    a graduate with same eligibility as above can also go for TGE entry i.e technical graduate entry ..
    a graduate with average score in i.e 50% or above can apply for CDS entry or OTA entry i.e for short service ....
    so these are all the aspects that you can give a shot at afetr your graduation for entry into defence forces..

    Below are the ways -
    1)in 3rd year engg you can apply for army's pre-university scheme
    2)apply in CDS after graduation
    3)apply in short service commission for army,navy and air-force
    4)apply for technical entry scheme for permanent commission
    5)apply for pilots.asst commandents in coast guard
    6)apply in INDIAN ENGINEERING SERVICE for asst excecutive engineer in GREF/BRO

    You Can Apply For CDS After GraduationThe Candidate should be qualified for bachelor degree in science stream or bachelor engineering from recognized university .The Candidate r age should be 21 years to 24 years .The Candidate should be physically fit for the CDS examination . The Candidate should be fit for the physical standard like , eyesight , weight , height etc......The Candidate should be free from diseases . The Candidate should apply for CDS examination through online or offline , important notification are published in Employment news paper .

    After Your graduation u may join Armed forces....
    After Graduation you Can Apply For CDS, age must be with in 24yr. exam happens twice a year.
    Or
    U can go for technical entry like TGC(Technical Graduate Course),University Entrance Scheme UES(pre-final yr), AFCAT(Air force common admission test).
    for Air-force (technical entry) u must had 60% aggregate throughout.
    You should be fit for the physical standard like , eyesight , weight , height etc.

    There are ample entry schemes available for candidates who wish to join Indian defence forces. One can even after completing 10+2 in any of the stream.

    Following are the main entry schemes with level of educational level required:

    1. National Defence Academy (NDA) Examination : For 10+2 appearing/passed students.

    2. Combine Defence Services (CDS) Examination : For graduates students

    3. Short Service Commission (SSC) Examination : For graduates students

    4. NCC Special Entry Scheme : For NCC 'B' and 'C' certificate holders

    5. Technical Entry Scheme (TES) : For 10+2 entry scheme for Candidates having Physics and Chemistry.

    6. University Entry Scheme (UES) : For engineering graduates.

    If you are engineering graduate with 65 % marks you can go for university entry scheme. Or else you can also prepare for various entrance exams like CDS conducted by UPSC twice a year. The advertisement for the same is scheduled in June and December.
