Re: Paper Pattern and Marks Criteria for NDA Exam?

NDA exam is conducted twice a year by UPSC to shortlist candidates for SSB interviews which is a gateway to get commisioned ranks in indian defence forces.
the basic eligibilty criteria for NDA is
passed/appearing 10+2 from a recognised board with min 50% marks
age limit between 16.5 to 19 years
    unmarried indian male...
..the paper is held generally in april and august on sundays..
the exam is conducted in two parts
part 1 is 300 marks paper which is to be solved in 150 minutes it consists of 120 maths questions
these are normal questions of class 10th,11th and 12th level...
after the first exam there is break of 1.5 hrs
after that paper two is conducted which consists of 150 ques in 150 minutes...
out of these 150, 50 questions are from english, 50 questions from 10th level science and remaining 50 from history, geography, civics and current affairs...
second paper is of 600 marks
so total marks for exam are 900.......
as far as cut off goes there is no fixed cut off as it varies with the difficultu level and performance of other candidates but what i can definately tell you is that if you get anything above 400 you can definately expect a ssb call........
