    Dear Friend,
first of all congratulation for being selected to the interviews..
and frankly speaking the interviews and physicals are not difficult..
the SSB lasts for % days..
in the first day you have ppdt..which is called picture perception and descripton testing..it is first and most imporatant round..
om the second day you have word association test, situation reaction test and thematic appreciation test(like picture perception).
on the 3rd day you have 10 individual physical tasks which you have to do in 3 mins, and some greoup tasks
on 4th day you have to appear gd and millitary planing...
and on the 5th dy you hve an interview..prepare well for tht......
    hope this will help you..
    thanx...

    Hello friend,

Well according to me the procedure involved in enrolling candidates in the defense forces are of high voltage. But an exposure of yourself to the interview board would provide confidence to you so that you can give a interview to any other companies without fear due to the height of exposure you would get in the 5 days test.My point is not that it is tough, rather i would prefer to say it has one of the disciplined procedure and the best in the country. If you are well fit for all the rules framed by organization you need not worry about Medical and physical check ups and tests.

    Procedure:

    *Written test
    *SSB OR AFSB interview
    *Medical and Physical tests.

The interview is conducted for about 4-5 days which is divided into two stages namely, first and second. In the first stage you are tested for picture perception,Screening test,General ability and basic tests etc.If you pass the first stage you'l be allowed to take up the second stage which includes Physical and physcological test.

*Height must be minimum 157.5 cms for men and 152 cms for women
*Weight is correlated according to height ratio.
*Eyesight must be 6/6 or 6/36 for distant vision and 6/9 for spectacles corrected vision
*Binocular vision must be level 3,Color blind limit is CP-3.
    *Myopia limit ranges from -3.5 D -0.75 D.
