Dear female candidate can apply for the IMA after graduation after graduation the age limit to apply for the IMA is 19 to 25 years dear you can apply for the IMA through CDS exam which is carried out by UPSC twice in a year and for which minimum qualification required to apply is graduation from govt. recognized university.

friend as you are commerce student you have two option after graduation in indian army:-
1.NON-TECH-you can apply for non-tech army after your graduation.
age limit-19-25
qualification-graduation.
2.NCC ENTRY-you can apply for ncc entry ater your graduation.
age limit-19-25.
qualifiaction-graduate with 50%aggregate marks and 2 yr service in ncc with minimum b grade .final year student can also apply.

any girl can make her entry in indian army or any other defence forces.all her need is to have a graduation degree.she can apply for different entries and if cleared her ssb ,she will allowed to join defence after certain interval of training in ota's.
make sure if you have graduation degree,your age should not cross more than 23,else you are not eligible.

Let me tell you something about Indian Army.

IMA-stands for Indian Military Academy.

Entry in IMA means,one is offered Permanent Commission.

Permanent commission means a service of 30 years in army.

Now girls are never offered permanent commission in Indian Army.

That means they are not allowed to apply for IMA.

They can only apply for OTA.

OTA menas Officer Training Academy,short service commission.

A service of 14 years maximum.


You can only apply for OTA,as a entry in Indian Army.

You as a commerce Graduate have only entry through OTA in Indian Army.

Entry name is CDSE.

Combined Defense Service Examination.

Qualification required-Graduation in any stream.
