    Should I have to pursue any other course for joining Indian Navy if I have 80% in 12th (science)?

    sir, i have completed my twelfth in science group and i got 80%... i would like to join in indian navy...so in further what i have to do...what course i have to study...i mean can i join in indian navy directly or i have to do any other degree courses or what.....sir can you please guide me to join in indian navy... for any job and am a female... so please help me to take my further decisions..... thank you

    Age limit:

    you have got the minimum qualification but going for degree helps you getting out more joba so you will be beneficial in that matter.

    Dear

    If you have 60% mark for your +2 you can join in Navy.

    And you should take physics and maths for your +2 to join in Navy by appearing the exam.

    You can appear for NDA exam to join in Navy. The age limit to appear for this exam is between 16 1/2 to 19.

    You can surely Join Indian Navy after scoring 80% Marks(Fairly Good) in 12th Standard.THere are 2 Option's for you to join in through Indian Navy i.e:

    Commissioned Officer
    TES(Technical Entry Scheme)
    NDA(National Defence Academy) Exam


    Non Commissioned Officer's
    SSR(Senior Secondary Recruit)
    AA(Artificer Apprentice)


    Details of these exams are mentioned here in brief , so check carefully:

    TES(Technical Entry Scheme)

    ::You should be a 12th Pass with 70 % Marks in PCM from a Recognized University.

    ::Age should be in between 16.5 - 19.5 Years

    NDA(National Defence Academy)
    Army
    ::You should be a 12th Pass student in any stream
    Air force & Navy
    ::You should be a 12th Pass With Physics & Maths as Compulsory Subjects in 12th

    ::Age Limit is 16.5 Years - 19 Years

    60% mark are required in your +2 to join in Navy.

    And you should take physics and maths for your +2 to join in Navy by appearing the exam.

    You can appear for NDA exam to join in Navy.
    The age limit to appear for this exam is between 16 1/2 to 19.

    If you want to pursue any course for joining Indian navy, then it is not necessary.

    Because you are already eligible for this. But you have to prepare for the exam.

    so, you should take admission in a coaching center and try to prepare well for this.

    Hi,

    Since you are a FEMALE candidate you CANNOT join INDIAN NAVY through NDA.

    I would prefer you do ENGINEERING/ANY GRADUATION from any of the branches and then opt for NAVY.

    AGE-
    16 half to 19 years..
    and Qualification-
    Must you have 12th passed certificate or also 12th appearing students are eligible....

    So i think you are currently in 10th standard and your age i think it is 14 so sorry friend currently you are not eligible...///

    Hello,
    You can go for NDA exam conducted by upsc, if you are not succesful then go for graduation and after that apply for CDS exam conducted by upsc.

    After completing your 12Th examination you are eligible to Join Indian Navy Examinations, and you have scored very good marks in your 12Th examination, So you can apply for these examinations to enter into Indian Navy.

    >> Indian Navy Technical Entry Scheme
    >> Indian Navy Direct Entry Exams
    >> Indian Navy Sailors (Direct Entry)
    >> Indian Navy Artificer Appprentices/Direct Entry Artificer

    But to apply for Technical Entry scheme, you have to complete your 12Th examination with Maths, Chemistry and physics as a compulsory Subjects with minimum 70% Marks. To apply for this examination your age should between 16.5 to 19.5 Years.

    The minimum acceptable height is 157.5 cms.

    Visual Standards for Navy :

    >> Uncorrected without glass : 6/12
    >> Corrected with glass : 6/6
    >> Limits of Myopia : -3.5
    >> Limits of Hypermetropia : +2.5
    >> Binocular vision : III

    If you have Completed your 12Th examination with Maths and Physics as a compulsory Subjects with minimum 50% Marks, then you are eligible to apply for Indian Navy Direct Entry Examination. To apply for this examination, you must have attained the age of 18 Years, But You Must be Good mental and physical health free from any disease
    • Height: 157 cms (minimum) for 18 years of age
    • Weight: Proportionate to height
    • Chest: Well developed and proportioned with minimum expansion range of 5cms
    • Without glasses better eye 6/6 and worse eye 6/9. Colour Perception: CP II.
    If you have scored minimum 60% Marks with Maths and Physics as a compulsory Subjects then you are eligible for Indian Navy Artificer Appprentices/Direct Entry Artificer Examination, But for this your age should between 18 to 22 Years.

    So, You can Enter into Indian Navy by these Examinations and if you need more Information then check official websites of Indian Navy.

    You could write the NDA Exam and Indian Navy Sailors (Direct Entry) Exam.


    NDA - National Defence Academy

    This exam isconducted every year and it is conducted as NDA I and NDA II

    This exam isconducted on the reason for candidates to join in defence forces like:
    • Indian Army
    • Indian Navy
    • Indian Air Force
    Eligibility for NDA:

    Nationality:

    >> Candidate applyingfor the exam must seek he has a citizenship in India.

    Martial Status:

    >> Thecandidate must be a unmarried male candidate as they are only eligible for theexam.Even male candidate who is married is also not eligible for the exam andeven girls are not eligible.

    Age limit:

    >> Age limitfor the NDA exam is that the candidate applying for the NDA Exam is that thecandidate must have a age limit of 16 1/2-19 years i.e the candidate should have born after 2nd July 1993and not later than 1st January 1996.

    EducationQualification:

    You can definitely join Navy after having your 12th cleared with such a good percentile.

    You can apply for Commissioned as well as Non-Commissioned Officers posts.

    The following are the available ways for you.

    1 Through TES
    2 Through SSR
    3 Through AA

    To join Through TES,you must be 12th with Physics and Maths and having age of 16.5 to 19 years of age.

    To apply through SSR,you must have Physics and Maths with 17 to 21 years of age.

    Through AA,You must have physics and Maths in 12th and age limit between 17-20 years .

    No,need to pursue any other course to after completing plus two examination you can apply for Indian Navy after scoring 70% marks in 10+2 Science stream.There is various areas and post for that you can apply like Indian Navy Technical Entry and Artificer Apprentices schemes.

    The eligibility criteria to join Indian Navy after 10+2 are following as :

    1) Educational Qualification : Plus two marksheet is essential for joining Indian Navy.

    2) You should be Physical Fit for the duties in Indian Navy.Your height should should be 165 cms. without wearing shoes.This is the height criteria for Indian Navy.

    3) You age should not less than 19.5 years and not more than 20 years.

    4) Your chest length should be 77 cms and fully expandable up to 82 cms. after full Inspirartion.

    5) You weight not exceed than 45 Kgs.

    Different types of percentage criteria is set up for Indian navy Technical Entry scheme and Direct Entry scheme.If you want to join Admission through Direct entry scheme then you should have at least 50% marks in aggregate.

    For direct entry scheme candidates your age should not less than 18 years.SC,Other Backward Class and Ex-service man candidates are eligible for age relxation.

    For Technical branch candidates you should have to follow some following steps before joining Indian Navy are following as :

    >>> Screening Test : This screening test is conducted for those candidates who qualify measurement of Physical standards examination.

    >>> The next is conducted for those candidates who clear Screening round that is running test.In this test you should have to cover 100 meter distance within 15 minutes then you will be called for Written Test.

    >>> Written Test : This test is conducted for those candidates who passed all physical test then eligible to apply.
