It is to inform you that AFCAT stands for Air Force Common Admission Test is an entrance test conducted to recruit candidates for various post in Indian Air Force as an officer as mentioned below:

*Technical post

*Flying or Pilot post

*Ground duty officer


Criteria for AFCAT:

~To appear in this xeam, you have to pass Bachelor degree course in any stream from recognized college/university.

~You should have minimum of 60 % marks in above such program.

~You age should be->

19-23 for Flying

18-28 for Technical

20-23 for Ground duty

AFCAT Exam is conducted by Air force Committee to select candidates for 3 Departments in Air force Such as:

1. Flying
   
2. Technical(UES)
   
3. Ground Duty

Flying Branch

Flying Branch is for those who wish to join Air force as a Fighter Pilot.

Qualifications::::You should be a Science Graduate with Physics & Maths as Compulsory Subjects in 12th

Age Limit::It should be in between 19-23 years

Height::Height should not be less than 162.5 Cms


Technical (UES) Branch

University Entry scheme is for Those who wish to pursue their career in Technical Departments.

Qualifications::You should be a B.tech Graduate with 60% Marks from a recognized university.

Age Limit::It should be In between 18-28 years

Branch:: Electronics & Mechanical B.tech Graduates are eligible to apply under this scheme


Ground Duty Branches

Qualifications::You should be a graduate with 60% Marks

Age Limit::It should be in between 20-23 years

Height::You should not be less than 157.5 Cms

Yes you can give NDA exam.The eligibility is as follows:
-Passed in 10+2 exam.
-Age limit: 16 1/2 - 19 yrs.

NDA exam is conducted twice in a year by UPSC.You can get the notifications of the exam from the UPSC website.
