    Subjects to be studied in +2 for becoming an Air Force Officer?

    what subject should we take in our +2 for becming a indian air force offecier?
    Help me out to select the subjects properly.

    Physics And Maths are compulsary.One should have atleast 60% marks in this two subjects to be eligible for applying for NDA exams.Apart from these two subjects there are questions also from chemistry but its not a requisite criteria.

    For becoming an officer in airforce you must have PCM in you 10+2
    well my advice would be to try NDA if you are eligible
    NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY (NDA)

    Eligibility Criteria
    Age 16 to 19 yrs

    2nd Jul to 1st Jan for Jul Course
    Qualification 12th Class of 10+2 System of Education/Equivalent for Army and with Physics and Maths for AF/Navy
    Marital Status Un Married
    Application to be Received by As per UPSC notification
    Likely SSB Date Sep to Oct and Jan to Apr
    Date Commencement of Trg Jan and Jul
    Training Academy NDA , Khadakwasla, Pune
    Duration of Trg 3 Yrs at NDA and 1 Yrs at IMA

    if not then you can go for any Engineering course,so you should be able to join airforce as a technical,flying and ground duty officer
    To join IAF, can apply for AFCAT exam .There are three posts for this,
    1 Flying Branch
    2 Technical Branch
    3 Ground Duty Branch

    AFCAT is a common admission test for a duration of two hours of 100 questions for 300 marks.3 marks for right and 1 mark deduction for each wrong answer.,it is a multiple choice question test having following sections:
    1 Verbal Ability
    2 Numerical Ability
    3 Reasoning
    4 General Awareness
    5 Aptitude

    Hi friend,

    A candidate having the qualification of +2 can give NDA exam to join Air force.

    Generally a candidate should have the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

    The age should be between 16-19

    After qualifying written test,interview and physical fitness round one can enter into air force.

    Good to see that you are Interested in Air force and wants to Join Indian Air Force After completing your 12Th examination.

    Firstly, I have to Informed you that, If your aim is to Join Indian Air force as a Officer, then for this you have to apply for NDA Examination after Intermediate examination.

    NDA stands for National Defence Academy and this examination is Conducted by UPSC, Twice in a year, To apply for this examination you have to complete your 12Th examination from a recognised University, Final year appearing candidates are also apply for NDA Examination.

    If you are Interested to Join Air Force, then you have to study Maths and Physics as a compulsory Subjects in your 12Th examination.

    To apply for Air force Wings or Academy, you have to study Maths and Physics as a compulsory Subjects in your Intermediate examination as well as in Graduation.

    So, Please study Maths and Physics subjects in your +2 Only then you can Opt Air Force Wings in NDA Examination, Otherwise you have to choose Army Wings.

    To apply for NDA Examination your age should between 16.5 to 19 Years, and the examination is Conducted 2 times in a year.

    You can also Join Air force by CDS Examination, this examination is also conducted By UPSC Twice in a year and to apply for this examination, you have to complete your Graduate degree course and your age should between 19 to 23 Years.     hi

    for INDIAN AIR FORCE you need to have mathematics ,physics as a main subjects..

    as the the questions pattern contains problems related to arithmetic,mensuration,algebra,geometry,trigonomet ry and statistic..

    the general ability paper contain-physics,chemistry,general science,social studies,current affairs and English part(tenses,comprehension,vocabulary etc)

    so i would suggest you to take M.PC..

    if you are not interested to take M.PC then you should be good in mathematics calculation....


    =for this you need to apply for NDA EXAM..this exam held twice in a year by UPSC.

    -only unmarried men can apply for this..

    -age=16 1/2-19 years

    -should be medically fine in all aspects

    -free from color and night blindness

    -application form you can download from the below given website

    Hi,
    You should be take Physics , Chemistry , Math. or Biology subject in 12th level and you compete graduation in BSC with physics or math. subject and you also take Engineering any branch like as : Electrical , Computer science , Electronics , Mechanical .

    to apply for AIR FORCE you have to study these subjects in 10+2 -

    > maths
    > physics
    > chemistry

    for air force examination you should passed 10+2 in physics and maths as compulsory subjects.
    and your age should be 16.5 to 19 years for NDA examination.

    NDA examination is conducted by UPSC twice in a year as NDA(1) and NDA(2)

    ELIGIBILITY FOR NDA EXAMINATION.

    You need to have PHYSICS and MATHS as subjects in your 10+2.

    This is a compulsary for every person who wants to join AIR FORCE,NAVY,ARMY.

    As you are willing to join AIR FORCE then you need to have physics and mathematics as your subjects.

    You can join AIR FORCE by writing NDA exam after completing 10+2.

    Subjects Selection in 12th for joining in Air force
    If you wish to join Air force after 12th then you should have combination of these subjects as compulsory subjects :
    Compulsory Subjects

    Physics
    Maths
    Chemistry


    Exam after 12th for Joining In Air force

    There are 2 Options for you to join in Air force i.e

    1.NDA(National Defence Academy)
    2.10+2 TES(Technical Entry Scheme)

    Phy and math are the most compulsory subjects.

    If you want to become a air force officer in Indian air force then you must have science stream with PCM subject for technical and after +2 you must have minimum B.tech or BE degree in your graduation then you can apply for a officer in Indian air force in technical entry if you want to apply for flying branch then you must have 60% marks in BE or in B.tech and for non tech you must be a graduate in any stream.

    Hello friend,its good to see that you ahve started preparing for your career.

    So if you are interested in joining Air Force,The most probable subjects which you should study at 12th level are

    1 Physics
    2 Chemistry
    3 Maths

    After 12th You can apply for NDA and TES .

    The details are as follows:
    For NDA,you must have studied Physics and Maths as compulsory subjects

    For TES,you must have studied PCM as compulsory subjects.

    So friend,do study PHYSICS ,CHEMISTRY AND MATHS at 12th level to join Air Force.

    Math & Physics

    Hey friend,

    To join in Air Force after completing +2 to join in as a Air Force officer,you need to write the entrance exams.You could write the NDA entrance exam for joining in Indian Air Force
    • This exam is conducted for candidates to join in Indian Army, Indian Navy , Indian Air Force
    For applying for this exam you need to have satisfy the eligibility criteria framed for the NDA Exam.

    This exam is carried out every year in favor of candidates to join in defence forces of India and this is carried out by UPSC .This exam is conducted every year twice as NDA I and NDA II

    As regarding the criteria's and the subjects that you need to study in order to become a Air Force officer are listed below:

    You need to be a citizen of India for applying for the NDA Exam.The martial status for the exam is that the candidate appearing for the exam must be a unmarried male candidate.The age limit for the exam is that the candidate must have 16 1/2-1 years.Education qualification for the exam is that the candidate must have completed +2 from a recognized school board of education with Physics and mathematics as subjects.Apart from all this you need to physically fit while appearing for the NDA Exam.


    If you tend to satisfy all the above criteria's then you are eligible for the NDA Exam
