Hello friend,Indian Cost Guard is an armed force of the country .It is a professional team of officers and men who operate ships an aircrafts for safeguarding country's maritime interests.It offers various job opportunities for officers and enrolled personnels to the educated youth in different categories.
The details are as follows:
POSTS: 1 NAVIK (General Duty)
2 Navik (Domestic Branch)

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
Navik(General Duty): 12th pass with 60% marks in aggregate with maths and Physics as compulsory subjects and atleast one of the Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science.

Navik (Domestic Branch): 10th pass with atleast 50% aggregate marks from recognized board .

SELECTION PROCESS:The selection process involves Written Test ,Physical Test and Medical Test.

SYLLABUS FOR WRITTEN TEST:1). Mental ability test of 30 minutes each for both the posts.
2). Objective type test:The question paper consists of English,Science,Maths and GK.It is of 1 hour.The candidates are required to pass all the tests.

So prepare well to clear it as it is gonna be a really tough test.

Eligibility Criteria for the different post of Coast Guard (Navik) as an officer is mentioned Below:

Assistant Commandant(General Duty)

-->>You should be a graduate with 60% Marks in aggreagate

-->> You should have got 60% marks at 12th standard with physics & maths as a compulsory subjects.

-->>Age should be in between 21-25 years

Assistant Commandant-SSA(Short service appointment)
(Service period of 8 years, extended upto 14 years)
-->>You should be a graduate with 60% Marks and also have 60% marks at 12th standard with physics & maths as a compulsory subjects.

-->>Age should be in between 21-25 years
Assistant Commandant(Pilot/Navigator)

-->>You should be a B.sc graduate with 55% Marks in aggregate

-->>You should have 60% Marks in 12th as well

-->>Age limit is 19-27 years

Assistant Commandant(Pilot/Navigator)(Short service appointment)
(Commercial Pilot Licence Holders)

-->>You should have obtained 60% Marks in 12th

-->>You should have obtained commercial pilot license

-->>Age should be in between 19-27 years
Assistant Commandant(Technical)

-->>You should be a B.tech degree holder with 60% Marks

-->>You should have obtained 60% Marks in 12th as well

-->>Age limit is 21-30 years
Assistant Commandant(Law cadre)

-->>You should be a Degree in Law with 8 year of experience

-->>Age should be less than 45 years

Note:There is a Relaxation in Age of 3 years for OBC Candidates & 5 years for SC/ST Candidates.

-SHOULD HAVE SCORED 60% IN 12TH

-SHOULD HAVE MATHEMATICS AND PHYSICS(MUST) WITH CHEMISTRY,BIOLOGY AND COMPUTER SCIENCE AS ONE OF THE SUBJECTS.

AGE LIMIT=17-22 YEARS

-HEIGHT=157CM

-5CM MINIMUM OF CHEST EXPANSION

-WEIGHT=ACCORDING TO HEIGHT AND AGE

-VISION=6/6 GOOD EYE AND 6/9 BAD EYE.
