    Is there any benefit of NCC C candidate in IPS?

    is there any benefit of ncc-c certificate in ips.if yes,what are those.plz rply

    yes, but it is only after you qualifying prelim and mains exam. During your interview, interview panel think on your NCC-C certificate and maximum chances to set you in the IPS range marks but it is up to you, because you must subscribe in your choices that your preference is for IPS.     having a c certificate is an additional advabtage in nda ......
    you can enjoy a special category entrance into nda through reservation in the c certificate category.......
    even you get the benefit in the interview.......
    even in promotion you get the benefit

    A certificate from NCC is really valuable. Since your given all modes of trainig here ur given a first preference than compared to those of freshers. If your a cadet of NCC with a C certificate and a grade A your given first preference in any Civil Services. Above all your trained and trimmed in Life to take up any jobs if your an NCC cadet.

    it defines that the person is mentally and physically fir to join the forces

    either the defence or the police.

    So , for defence the benefit of ncc certificate is indicated but for police forces it is yet not indicated.

    May be it will help at the time of selection , it will prove you you are mentally and physically fit.

    IPS Stands for Indian Police Service and to become IPS Officer you have to cracked the UPSC Civil Services examination, This examination is Conducted by UPSC Comission every year in Two Stages : Preliminary and Mains.

    As Come to your Query, You have a NCC C Certificate and you will definitely get benefit only at the Time of Interview and In Interview Only those are eligible who cracked both Preliminary and Main examination. So, please try to cracked Both the stages and then you are eligible for IPS Post after cracking the Final Interview.

    To apply for Civil services examination, You have to complete your Graduate degree course in any discipline form a recognised university, Final year graduate candidates are also apply for the same. There is no Minimum percentage is required to apply for this examination and graduate passed candidates are eligible for this examination.

    So, If you are Really Interested to become IPS Officer and your age should between 21 to 30 years, then you are eligible to apply for CSAT Examination.

    General candidates will gets 4 Attempts to cracked this examination, OBC Candidates gets 7 Attempts and No Limits for SC/ST Candidates.

    The Notification of this examination will be Published in the employment Newspaper or in the UPSC Website, The Notification will be Published on February.

    The Next year examination Notification will be Published on 04/Feb/2012 and the last date of apply for this examination 05/March/2012 and the examination will be held on 20/May/2012. So please wait for the Notification and then apply for this examination Online.

    The Preliminary examination are Objective and there are 2 Papers in this examination and Both are of same marks and duration. So please try to cracked the Preliminary examination only then you are eligible for Main examination.     Hello,
    Yes surely there will be lot of benefit Of having NCC C Certificate but this will benefit only when you will qualify Pre and Mains Exam. When you get qualified in that exam
    then one interview will be conducted before the Interview board. So you have to provide all your certificate in front of them..

    Yes NCC Certificate in very useful to police and Defence requirement . At the time of interview there more preference to you other then General candidate .

    IPS stand for Indian Police Service . IPS Examination is conducted by UPSC for very . the examination is divided into three stages like ,

    >> You should be passed any one of the bachelor degree in any stream from recognized university . Please note that the your an final years your eligible to apply for the examination .

    >>> Note : Percentage is not necessary for IPS examination if your qualified in bachelor degree then you eligible to apply for IPS examination .

    >> Your age should be 21 to 30 years and the relaxation is given for sc/st candidate for 5 years and OBC candidate for 3 years .

    >> General candidate are eligible to apply attempts examination for 4 times , OBC candidate for 7 Times and there is no limit for sc/st candidates .

    >> you should also physically as well as mentally fit .

    NCC certificate is most beneficial at the time of interview.
    Additional points will be added to you when compared to others who donot have NCC certificate.
    It symbolizes your discipline and puntunality which is needed for all jobs.
    When comes to IPS exam these qualities are mandatory so definitely it will be beneficial.

    There are lots of Defence jobs as Administrate,Accounts,Officers post,Medical posts,Logistics etc.
    It totally depends upon your choice of interest to join in defence at post of your choice.
    Here is the list of some of exams through which you can appear for Defence jobs:
    NDA:-(National defence academy exam) conducted twice a year.You should have passed 12th with age limit 16.5 to 19 years to be eligible for this exam.


    CDS:-(Combined defence service) exam conducted twice a year by UPSC. You should be a graduate to be eligible for this exam.
    Age limit is 19-25 years.


    If you are engineer you can apply for Technical posts Under University Entry Scheme.
