i am 2 medical student . i want to join millitary as medical keeping my proffesion .i have filled AFMC form but it have limited seats . In case i do not get their seat,,,,is there any other possibility to get into armed forces or military? please tell as possible as u can .

hello, dear friend according to rules of defence," if a person who is debarred (rejected/excluded) by the ministry of defence from holding any type of commission in the defence services he or she is not eligible to join defence services." so according to this rule if you failed in AFMC than you cannot join defence. Dear aspirant, Do not worry, you can apply for indian army by NDA examination, nda is conducted twice in a year by upsc to select candidate in indian army, air force and indian navy as well. You must be 16.5 to 19 years of age to apply for nda. Girls are not eligible to apply. Candidate should be male and unmarried. Physical fitness is must to apply for defence services. Should not be found criminal during police verification. Nationality should be indian. When you fill up the application form then you will get the dates for written exam. If you clear the written exam then you will be called for SSB interview. SSB consist of several stages so before the date of reporting they verify all the documents first then your interview starts. It takes five days to complete the interview, you need to go through several tasks which you have to perform otherwise you will be rejected. after the completion of interview you will be gone through the medical test and that will be the final procedure.
