    Is there any post for Law officer in UPSC?

    hi my name is upasana ghai... i have completed my law in 2010.. i am also a company secretary. i am preparing for UPSC presently.. i wanted to enwuire whether there is any post for a law officer?? and the profile for the same.. please let me the know the eligibility, recruitment criteria/ entrance exam..

    government of india requires a law officer in defence to clear the tribute between two nationsas there is no vacancies for such a post.i request you to kindly check employement newspaper for detais.since all the vacancies can be seen in that newspaper.EligibilityCandidates having 2-5yrs experience in a law sector are eligiblecandidates must have law degree that is masters in lawage limits 28-35 since they requires a person with experienceselection procedurethrough cdsand through direct entry as per the vacancies

    In Indian Navy there is post named SSC LAW cadre for this both men & women are eligible.you can apply for the same by verifying the below eligible criteria.

    Age Should be 22 - 27 years

    A degree in Law qualifying for enrolment as an Advocate under the Advocates Acts 1961 with minimum 55% marks.

    this are conducted by UPSC Examination .

    You can apply through JAG Entry scheme in Indian Army in SSC(Short service commission)WOMEN for the post of Advocate in Jugde departemnt of Army.



    JOB PROFILE:
    You need to solve cases regrading different issues and disputes in Indian Army.

    ELIGIBILITY:
    You should have a LLB Degree with minimum 55% marks with experience of 3 years OR

    You should have a experience of 5 years after 12th in Court.

    Your age should not be more than 27 years and minimum it is 21 years

    SELECTION PROCEDURE
    Selection should be done in 3 phrases:
    1.Initial screening at headquater
    2.SSB Interview
    3.Medical test

    You will serve the Indian army in the advocate.

    you will be handling different types of cases related to the India army.

    you will be admitted in the judge advocate general departments. you may help in formulating policies and rules.

    Eligibility:

    Only Indian nationals can apply.

    This post is only for women.

    your age must be between 21 and 27 years.

    Educational qualifications:


    you must have a LLB degree with minimum of 55% throughout and a 3 year experience after graduation or 5 years after 12th class.

    How to apply:

    YES it is possible for you to sit in UPSC ( Union Public Service Commission ) exam being a Law Graduate. Dude there are different exams you can apply for entry through UPSC examination with your qualification.

    I. Civil Services :

    UPSC conducts the entrance exam all India wide for the Civil's services which are divided into

    1. All India Services

    - I.A.S ( Indian Administrative Service )
    - I.P.S ( Indian Police Service )

    2. Central Services :

    - Post and Telecommunication.
    - Railways
    - Revenue
    - Foreign Exchange
    - Defense
    - Union Territory Administration

    3. State Services :

    Different government openings in State wise

    So dude for any Civil's entry UPSC conducts the exam for the aspirants who completed their Graduation in any Stream from recognized college or University and your age must be between 21 years - 30 years.

    II. CDS ( Combined Defense Service ) :

    It is the recruitment exam conducted by UPSC all India wide for the entry into Indian Defense Services different wings

    1. Indian Military Academy ( I.M.A )
    2. Indian Air Force
    3. Indian Navy
    4. Officers Training Academy ( O.T.A )

    Dude as your a Law Graduate you are Eligible for I.M.A only and you must be UNMARRIED MALE too to write UPSC CDS exam. You must have completed your Degree in any stream and your age should be between 19 - 22 years.

    III. Central Police Force ( CPF ) :

    It is the recruitment rally for the post Central Police Service for different Cadre's.

    - MALE are eligible for the Cadre's CRPF,BSF,CISF,SSB,ITBP

    - FEMALE are eligible for Cadre's CRPF & CISF only.

    you must have completed your Degree from any recognized university or college and your age must be in between 20 years - 25 years of age.
