No that's not true, it's impossible for girls to join in NDA.NDA is not planning for girls to join in defence services.

NDA is meant for training unmarried male candidates to get commissioned to three services of defence
only unmarried male of 16 1/2-19 years are eligible for NDA
I am sorry to say that girls are not eligible to appear for the NDA entrance exam
If you are very much interested to join army you can apply for CDS after your graduation
