    What is the vacancy for a B.TECH[Information Technology] graduate [Female] passed out in the year ? and how to
    pursue?

    defence field is now open to all desnot matter whether a male or female want to join.U.E.S (University entry scheme) :Educational qualification : The Candidate have pre-final year of the degree/graduation in B.E/B.Tech.Age : The age should have 19 to 25 years.notification of exam : June/July.

    Yes you have lot of vacancies you can apply through the CDS exam and and other way is through the SSC. if you want to apply by the vacancy which is to be announced by the services time to time then you can also apply and see the updates on there particular websites.

    Yes the B.Tech graduate student can also apply for the defence services..The vacany for this are given below :

    1. CDS entry - Form available from UPSC website.. Written followed by SSB interview...
    2. AFCAT ENTRY - Form available from fresherworld.com in the month of june..written followed by SSB.
    3. Technical Graduate Course - Notification on fresherworld.com.. written followed by SSB..
    4. Short Service Commission- Notification in employement newspaper/fresherworld.com.. direct SSB..
    5. NCC C C ertificate Special Entry- Notification in employement news/fresherworld.com..direct SSB...

    Graduates can apply for various Technical posts in Defense.. Since you are from IT u can join posts related to information broadcasting which is published during August-September and Feb-March in their websites...

    You can apply for CDS exam from tht u can make your career in Information security system in Defence and there are many opening in information technology in defence..u can visit on the CDS website for more info.

    there is a scheme called UES(University entry scheme) for btech graduates or final year or prefinal student are also eligible.
    minimum critera :
    1. you should have a minimum of 60%.
    2.age should be 19-25.
    selection procedure consists of 3 stages:
    1.campus interview
    2.ssb interview
    3. medical test

    There is many ways to join defence after B.tech. But i think UES(University Entry Scheme) is the best way for u .
    you should have a minimum of 60%.
    age should be 19-25.

    Yes,You can enter in Defense department after completing your graduation with Engineering course.mostly you will be having good chances to get better opportunities in technical side.You can get opportunities through University Examination Scheme.This is the best to you.to apply for University Examination Scheme then you must be having following eligibility criteria then only you will be having chance to get opportunities in this field;

    >>You must completed your engineering graduation with at least 60% of marks from recognized university with any stream and your age should be between 19 years to 25 years.

    As engineering graduate you will be preferred well if you are having sound technical knowledge in the subjects

    CAREER FOR B-TECH (IT) STUDENT


    You have completed your B-TECH in IT. But your graduation marks is must be 60% above because below mention organization have criteria is above 60% in graduation . This percentage is vary from organization to organization.

    So you have many options to go like govt sector ,private sector or higher study also.

    The govt sector options are -DRDO , BARC , ONGC , ISRO , NIC , IGDR , BANK PO ,NTPC ,FCI ,UPSC EXAM , BSNL JTO etc.The age limit for those organization is maximum 30 years .Age relaxation provide only for SC/ST /OBC candidate.

    Also you are eligible in private sector also . the private sector company are TCS ,CTS ,IBM,HP,L&T,ALUMNUS ,WIPRO etc.

    The higher study options are MS , MBA ,M-TECH ,JRF ,SRF ,PHD etc.

    Also you must be qualify in GATE ,CAT,MAT exam.
