    Way to get in flying branch without 60% marks?

    I have not scored 60%marks..is there any other way in getting into flying branch??

    If you want join in Indian Air force in Flying Branch should have to Appear the AFCAT Exam.
    AFCAT-Air force Common Admission Test
    This Exam Includes Three Branches
    Technical Branch
    Flying Branch
    Ground Duty Branch
    Qualifications required for Flying Branch
    Should have completed Engineering from Discipline University
    Should have 60% Marks
    Age should be between 21-25 Years.
    These are the Details to join in Indian Air force in Flying Branch

    To join Indian Air Force- Flying Brace you need to appear in AFCAT Exam.

    AFCAT:- Air Force Common Admission Test. this exam is conducted once in a year.


    Eligibility criteria for AFCAT:

    You should be graduate in engineering course from recognized university.

    You Must have secured minimum of 60 % marks with no history backlogs.

    Your Age should be in between 19 to 23 Years.

    You should be Indian.

    You should be Unmarried.

    Yes, of course you can apply for Flying Branch in Air force through without 60% Marks


    Basically there are 2 Exams through which you are selected for Flying Branch as a pilot in Air force::

    1.Air force Common Admission Test(AFCAT)

    2.Combined Defence Service Exam(CDS)

    But you need to Score Minimum 60% Marks for AFCAT Exam , While for CDS Exam there is no % Barrier.

    Hence you are Eligible to apply for CDS Exam without 60% Marks.Eligibility Details are given below::

    >>You should be a graduate in science disciple with Physics & Maths as compulsory subjects in 12th

    >>Age should be in between 19-23 Years

    >>Minimum Height Required is 162.5 Cms for Flying Branch

    To get into Indian Air Force,you have to give AFCAT(Air Force Common Admission Test).
    The eligibility criteria for AFCAT-
    1)Age-19 to 24 years.
    2)Nationality-Indian.
    3)Qualification-Graduate from a recognized university.
    4)Maritual Status-Single.

    dear,
    there isn't any major problem if u hadn't attained 60%.
    if u r 12 passed and below 18 yr u may apply for NDA for air force as pilot but u must have phy and math in ur +2 level.
    u may also apply for CDS after graduation having phy and math in 10+2 level.
    there are other means to get in air force as pilot but they need minimum of 60% in graduation level.

    so u may apply for NDA and CDS if u match the given eligibility ,
    no need to worry.
