you can join defence after 12th if you are 19 yera old or less than that by giving nda exam if you will suceed in it they will call you for ssb and after qualifying ssb you can join defence services

There are 2 exams which you can appear for if you wish to join the Defense being a Class 12th Students. The two National Level Entrance Exams are :-

NDA 1 (April)
NDA 2 (August)

This stands for the National Defense Academy. It is conducted by the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) every year for the recruitment of the candidates for the various posts in Army, Navy and Air Force.

But before that you have to apply for it. There are some Eligibility Criteria's which you must meet so that you can stand eligible for the NDA. They are you should be an unmarried male Indian having age between 16.5 to 19 years. Physical fitness is a must as you have to appear for the Physical examination once you are able to pass the written exam.

Also I must inform you that only 12th Science candidates can apply for the 3 wings of the Defense, whereas the Commerce and Arts students can only apply for the Army wing.

Some eligibility criteria for NDA exam:-
You must be Indian
You must have complite or appear in 12th
You must be unmarried male candidate
