If you join in Indian army at a higher post then you should be prepare for N.D.A (National Defense Academy) and C.D.S(Combined Defense Service) like exam. These are all exam is conducted by U.P.S.C (Union Public Service Commission). These exam is conducted in every year twice. But You can apply for N.D.A after or pursuing 12th and C.D.S after or pursuing graduation.Although there are many more option for you like soldier clerk, technical, J.C.O rank ,havildaar educational and many more etc. But if you are going with higher rank then you can apply only for N.D.A and C.D.S.

N.D.A (National Defense Academy): You can apply for N.D.A through Indian army academy.

>> Education qualification: You should be passed or equivalent in 10+2 from recognized school/board.
>> Age: Your age should be between 16.5 to 19 years.

You can join Indian army through the Indian military academy and officer training academy .

C.D.S Examination :

For I.M.A (Indian Military Academy) :-

>>Age : your age should be between 19 years to 24 years.

>> Eductional qualification : You should have Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university or equivalent qualification.

For O.T.A (Officer Training Academy):-

>>Age : Your age should be between 19 years to 25 years.

>>Educational qualification : You should have Bachelor's degree from a recognized university or equivalent qualification.

To become an officer in the indian army first of all you have to complete your 12th from any recognised board
Secondly your age should be minimum 16 1/2 years
Only male candidates can apply
So I advice you to complete your 12th and apply for NDA
NDA exam is conducted by UPSC twice a year

right now you are in 11th and you are wishing to join indian army at higher posts which is appreciable.
best way is that you can secure good marks in 12th especially in PCM.
after that you can apply for NDA exam(written exam) as well as for TES(technical entry scheme)(directly on the basis of 12th marks).
if you are able to clear the NDA exam then you have to face a SSB in which if you are able to perform well then you will be shortlisted .

for joining army at higher what you can do is:

1) you can give the exam of NDA (national defence academy)after your 12th.
you have to give a wrriten exam and after that if you are shortlisted than you are called for SSB and after that if you will

clear that SSB than a madical test is their after that you are recruited.
2) in the same way you can apply for TES (technical entry scheme) whose procedure is almost same ,only difference is that in this you are directly called for SSB on the basis of your 12th marks.

3)moreover what you can do is you can do some graduate course from an good institute and than apply for CDS( combined defence services) exam.

You can join indian army as an officer in permanent commission through NDA exam.As you have mention that you are studying in 11th standard it means you have to wait for one year.Nda exam is conducted for 12th passed/Appeared students only.
