    hi..to join the air force as an pilot you have to fist give the national defense academy exam or the combined defense services examination which ever is applicable for you ,after that you will have to pass an simulator test ,if you fail in this test then there is no other chance in your life to become an pilot after this,in an way you can say that an person gets only one chance to become an air force pilot ,there will be options available for you to join in various other capacity as an technical officers but never can you become an pilot ,you can get all the information about the above examinations at the following website :http://www.upsc.gov.in/

    As per the your 10+2 or graduate or Engineering you can enter into Indian Air Force

    In Indian Air Force you can join in the Flying Branch, Technical Branch, or the Ground Branch and for the same the Eligible criteria will be differ as per the post

    If you are 10+2 and Age 16 1/2 to 19 years through NDA National Defence Academy you can join as an officer.

    If you are Graduate you can join in Flying Branch , Technical Branch, Ground Branch as per the graduate you are.

    Procedure to Join Air Force

    If you want to join Air force then you need to fill application forms and write entrance exam .After completing initial procedure you will be prepare for PET(Physical Efficient Test).

    Before joining Air force first you required to choose branches for OLQ Tests.

    1) Flying Branch :-In case of if you choose Flying Branch then first clear to Pilot Aptitude Battery Test.After clearing this test you are eligible for Psychological Tests .

    2) Technical Branch :-In Technical branch group test and Conference test arrange by selection board.

    3) Ground Duty Branch :-In case of Ground Duty Branch you must clear intelligence test .This test conducted at the selection board.

    Procedure: The following is the procedure.
    1.Written Examination.
    2.Personal Interview.
    3.Medical Examination.
    Written Examination: The written exam includes NDA and CDS .These two exams are conducted by "Union Public Service Commission" Two times in ayear.
    Personal Interview: This interview is for the candidates who short listed in Written Exam.So This Interview is conducted by Staff Selection Board.
    Medical Examination:This Medical Examination Conducted by Staff Medical Board for the candidates who short listed in The Interview.

    The candidates recruited in the Defence are well trained in order to give their best
    Defence is mainly divided into 3 sections(wings)
    ARMY
    AIR FORCE
    NAVY
    If you want to get into defence you have 3 options:
    NDA(National defence academy):-Academy trains the person to get ready for any situation
    The exam conducted for NDA Twice a year.The eligibility for that is given below:
    You should have completed your 12th(physics and maths) compulsary for air force and navy
    Your age should be between 16.5 to 19 years


    CDS(Combined defence service)exam:This exam is conducted by UPSC Twice a year.Through this exam you are eligible to get into one of foloowing academy for training:
    IMA
    AIRFORCE
    NAVY
    OTA
    You are eligible for CDS if you fulfill given below criteria:
    You should have completed Your graduation(B.tech is compulsary for air force and navy)
    Your age should be between 19-22 for navy,19-23 for army,19-24 for IMA,19-25years for OTA.

    CDS Stands for Combined defense Services.

    You can apply for any One of the Wings -
    • Army Wings
    • Naval Wings
    • Air -Force Wings.
    For Army Wings, You need to complete your 12Th examination form any discipline form a recognised University.

    But for Naval And Air force Wings, You need to complete your 12Th examination with Maths and Physics as a complulsory Subjects.

    Dear

    You can join to Air force after completing the +2 or graduation by appearing the NSA or CDS exam .


    The NDA and CDS exam is for +2 candidates and Degree candidates respectively.


    The NDA and CDS exam are conducted by UPSC twice in a year.


    After the NDA or CDS exam there will be SSB interview conducted to know the physical fitness of the candidates and for the personal details of the candidates.


    The details of exams are given in the website of UPSC- www.upsc.gov.in


    The age limit to enter in to the air force is 19 – 23.


    The height of the candidates should be 157 cm, Weight should be in proportion to the height.


    You have to get 60% mark for graduation to appear in CDS exam.

    Hello,

    You can join the air force through NDA after 12 class.

    As well as you can join the air force through CDS examination after graduation.

    Other than this, some other exams such as CET, SSC and EKT are also there to get into air force.

    But you need to look that you have physics and math as your subject in class 12.

    Nice to see that you are Interested to apply for Indian Air force, and there are lots of Modes in which you have join the Indian Air Force, but you have not mentioned your Eligiblity Criteria and its very difficult for me to guide you Properly, But please do not worry because Here I am Providing you the Information of all the examination, in which you can apply for as per your Eligiblity, You can Join Indian air force after cracking these given Examinations.

    >> National Defence Academy (NDA): UPSC conducts the National Defence Academy and this examination is Conducted by UPSC, Twice in a year. To apply for this examination you have to complete your 12Th examination with Maths and Physics as a compulsory Subjects. Final year appearing candidates are also apply for NDA Examination, only Unmarried Male candidates between the age of 16.5 to 19 Years are eligible, For this year NDA (I) 2012 Examination Notification was already declared and it is availiable in the official website, the Online Registration process was already started and the Last date date of apply for this examination 30/Jan/2012. The examination will be held on 15/April/2012. So If you are Fulfill the Given Eligiblity then you are eligible for NDA Examination.

    IAF(Indian Air Force) there are mainly two exams ; these are:-

    1.Through CDSE(Combined Defense Services examination)-

    Qualification required- Any graduate degree/BE/B Tech degree and having passed Physics and maths in class 12th.

    Age limit- 19-23 years

    Month of exam- It is conducted twice a year. In the month of April and September.

    2.Through SSC(Short service commission)-

    Qualification required- Any graduate degree/BE/B Tech degree with minimum 60% marks and having passed Physics and maths in class 12th.

    > you should be unmarried.

    In Indian Air Force you can join in the Flying Branch, Technical Branch, or the Ground Branch and for the same the Eligible criteria will be differ as per the post

    If you want to join the Air Force and completed application forms, you must write an entrance examination. After you have completed the initial process (Physical Ability Test) PET will be ready.
    OLQ Tests Air Force before joining the first branch you choose.
    1) Flying Branch: - The solution to this test, you are eligible in the Pilot Aptitude Battery Tests Psychological Test.After select the first clear case of the flying branch.

    • You are the citizen of India.

    Minimum Hight:-Your height is 157 cms for males and 152 cms for females.

    Eye sight:-Your eye sight is 6/6 for good eye and 6/12 for worst eye.

    For getting into INDIAN AIR FORCE WINGS after 12th , one must clear the NDA exam.


    The eligibility criteria is:

    defense services examination which ever is applicable for you ,after that you will have to pass an

    simulator test ,if you fail in this test then there is no other chance in your life to become an pilot after

    first complete 12th class with maths and physics

    then take NDA exam.

    ->you should have minimum completed 10+2 education.


    ->you age is between 16.5-25 years for army and 16.5-24 years for Indian Navy.


    ->you height is 157 cms for males and 152 cms for females.


    ->you eye sight is 6/6 for good eye and 6/12 for worst eye.


    ->apply any exams like NDA, CDS, SSB, X-group, and Y-group.


    ->if you have filled all the details in application form then you will be issued admit card.


    ->using this card you can sit in the written exam.


    ->after written exam the qualified candidates will give the physical and medical test.


    ->then passing the above rounds you will be called for the interview rounds.


    ->and after the final merit list will be making then you will be selected.
