army - indian army is one of the largest security force in the world .
Army is to guard the nation by grounds.

Navy- it is a three dimensional force.
Navy is to guard the nation by sea.

Cisf , army and navy all are armoured forces,

army and navy guards the whole nation,

though cisf is for internal industries...

    Hi....
The main Difference is ..ARMY is a Force of LAND.. AND The NAVY is a Force of Water...I think people in the Army are better. That's because I was in the Army. You are asking a question that can not be answered. Look up the word ethnocentrism. One group of people can not judge another group of people by their own standards. It can not work. Likewise, a civilian can not judge either branch. They are outsiders as well.
An officer is an officer. I would respect the one that is in my chain of command more if that person deserves it. They would probably get that respect at the beginning of the day too.
