    What to do for joining IAF in flying branch?

    what i have to do for joining the iaf in flying branch.
    I am ready to go to any extent for that, you just tell me what to do?

    U can Apply for
    CDS(Combined defense services)Exam now...it happens twice a year.
    For Navy & Air-force Age limit is 24yrs through CDS.
    But For joining Air-force or Navy you must have studied physics and maths in 12th level.

    .
    Last date for Receipt of Applications 30.01.20112 (Monday).
    Therefore you should fill and submit the online form before 11.59 PM on Monday 30.01.2012.

    Minimum qualification for NDA is:

    -Only the unmarried candidates are appeared.
    -You are not earlier than 2nd January,1993 and not later than 1995.

    Educational qualifications:

    -You have to pass your 12th in any recognized university/board.

    physical standards:
    A candidate must be fit as per admission rule.

    If you fulfill those qualifications you are eligible for NDA.

    You can join in Indian Air force as a following Departments


    1.Flying Department

    2.Ground Duty Department
    3.Technical Department

    You can join in Flying Department with following criterion:

    Should be citizen of India
    Should have completed Graduation engineering from Discipline University.
    Age Should be between 19-23 years Only

    for air force field you can write either NDA EXAM OR CDS EXAM OR AFCAT EXAM AS PER THE CANDIDATE QUALIFICATION

    1)NDA=12th passed in maths and physics

    age=16.5-19 years

    2)CDS= any graduate with 60% without any backlog

    age=19-24 years

    3)AFCAT (air force common admission test)

    -should be medically fit and fine

    -height=157cm for men and for women 152cm

    -most important for air force eye sight and hearing should be sharp( can distinguished different colors)

    in air force candidate can join in technical branch or ground duty branch ,flying branch as an officer

    You can write the AFCAT entrance exam which is held for candidates to join in Flying branch


    AFCAT - Air Force Common Admission Test

    The eligibility conditions which you need to satisfy to join in flying branch of AFCAT is as follows:


    Eligibility for Flying Branch:


    Nationality:

    > The candidate need to be a citizen of India

    Age Limits:

    > The age limit for joining in flying branch is that the candidate must have 19-23 years

    Education Qualification:

    There are 3 trades in Indian Air Force.

    1. Flying branch
    2. Ground duty branch
    3. Technical Branch

    you should have the following criteria to join in flying branch.

    The candidate should be a citizen of India.
    Candidate can complete the graduation in any trade but must have had math and physics in 12th..
    Candidate’s age should be in between 19-23 years.

    You join flying branch throw Air force common admission test . It exam conducted by Indian Navy . In this exam first written test after it which candidate passed it's written test those candidate called to Interview process .Eligibility Criteria : Bachelor degree in any scheme or Bachelor degree in engineering . Age limit : 19 to 23 year.

    Your desire to join Indian air force is well appreciated.It is one of the three branches which requires pure passion,patriotism to excel in the field.The career aspect is huge and a adventurous filled adrenaline pumping experience.Obviously the procedure involved for recruitment is of high standards and is considered as best in the country.

    For Flying Branch you can join through Combined defense service exam conducted by Union public service commission twice in a year once in mid February and in mid September.You will be granted permanent commission if you are selcted through this method.You must be aged between19-23 years.Must be unmarried Indian citizen with valid documents.Only applicable for men only. Educational qualification is a graduate in any discipline with 10+2 PCM.Final year engineering students can also apply.There is no percentage bar.Also you can join through NCC SPECIAL ENTRY if you hold a NCC "c" CERTIFICATE.eLIGIBILTY IS SAME AS ABOVE.

    Alternate option for you is to join as Flying pilot[SSC] applicable for both men and women.The criteria is similar to that of CDSE.

    You must pass all the physical and medical criteria's.

    Yes, of course you can apply for Flying Branch in Air force through without 60% Marks

    Basically there are 2 Exams through which you are selected for Flying Branch as a pilot in Air force::

    1.Air force Common Admission Test(AFCAT)

    2.Combined Defence Service Exam(CDS)

    But you need to Score Minimum 60% Marks for AFCAT Exam , While for CDS Exam there is no % arrier.

    Hence you are Eligible to apply for CDS Exam without 60% Marks.Eligibility Details are given below::

    1.NDA

    Vision:6/6 ,no spectacles

    If you are 12th passed with Science stream,then you can apply for NDA.
    If you are graduate then you can apply for CDS.
    Both are conducted by UPSC.

    Hai,You can join indian airforce through NDA or CDS or AFCAT.But you can't mention your educational qualification, because with 12th standard qualification you can apply NDA or AFCAT, and with the graduation qualification you can apply CDS exam.Eligibility criteria:-The candidate should be complete graduation from any of the recognised university.Percentage of marks is no needed for this exam.     Indian Air Force.

    Entry in Flying Branch.

    Graduation in any stream with physics and maths in 10+2.
    Age limit-19 to 23 years.
    At the time of commencement of the course.

    Combined Defense Service Examination.
    No percentage required.
    Flying Branch-Air Force Academy.
    Permanent Commission
    Service of 30 years.

    Air Force Common Admission Test.
    Minimum 60% in graduation.
    Short Service Commission.
    Both boys and girls are eligible.
    Service of maximum 14 years.

    Selection Procedure of Flying Branch.
    1)Written Exam.
    2)Service Selection Board interview
    A 5 days interview.
    3)Physical Test.

    Flying Branch-Special Test.
    PABT-Pilot Aptitude Battery Test.
    1)SMA-Sensory Motor Apparatus.
    2)INSB-Instrument Battery Test.
    3)CVT-Control Velocity Test.

    Once failed in PABT ,can not apply again in Flying Branch in Indian Air Force.
    PABT is once in a life time opportunity.

    Friend,

    Flying Branch is the one of the Branch of the Indian Air force Among the Indian Air force. In order to join for the Indian Air force flying Branch you have to full fill the requirement of the Indian Air force ( Special Requirements of the Indian Air force)


    For the Flying Branch
    Height – 162.5 cm and for the Ground Duty and Technical Branch – 157.5 cm


    Leg Length – 99-120 cm

    Thigh Length – 64 cm

    Sitting Height – 81.5-96 cm

    And also Vision requirements should be

    Vision

    Minimum Visual Acuity – 6/6 in one eye
    In Other Eye – 6/9
    For Hyper myopia Correctable to the 6/6 only


    These are all about the Physical Requirements of the Indian Air force . Apart from this you have to have the Education qualification also. Or the flying Branch you have to clear Graduation with Minimum aggregate of 60% and also clear with Physics and Mathematics in the Intermediate

    For joining flying branch:

    Basic qualification: Graduate in any stream

    Age: 19.5 to 23 yrs.

    Advantage will be given to NCC C certificate holders.

    Physical standard: vision should be without glass.(no spectacles allowed)

    Dear Friend


    If you are willing to join in to the Flying branch then you must write the AFCAT examination

    For this before you can Apply for the AFCAT you must fulfills the Required Eligibility criteria


    <> You must have a Graduation with a Minimum 60% of marks from a Recognized university

    <> It allows only the students have the Maths and Physics in 10+2 from a Recognized board

    <> For Flying Branch the Age should be in between 19 - 23 years


    After Fulfills the Requirements of the Criteria you have to write a " Written Test "


    Syllabus for the AFCAT is given a follows


    <> Numerical Ability

    <> General Awareness

    <> Verbal Ability

    <> Reasoning and Military Aptitude Test


    After that you will be shortlisted for the AFSB at Some Centers like Dehradun etc

    Then There will be a Stage I and Stage II exams

    After Qualify to both Stage I and II you will have PABT for the Flying Branch students


    PABT is the last Examination for the Flying Branch
