    Hello my friend ,
Since you have asked me the eligibility criteria for applying the cadre post in the Indian Navy
but you have provided me insufficient data , so I'm going to tell you about the 10+2 level as well as the
Graduate level examinations that will lend you to the cadre post in the Indian Navy .

    And here I go .
The National Defence Academy ( NDA ) Examination as well as the Indian Navy 10+2 technical entry scheme (TES) Examination are conducted for the 10+2 level unmarried male candidates and these Examinations gives them the opportunity to enter the Indian Naval Academy . The NDA Examination is conducted by the UPSC Government and they conduct it twice a year while the TES examination is conducted by the Indian Navy itself and they conduct it only once a year . Both this Examination can be applied only by the Unmarried male candidates of India
while studying in the 12th class or after completing their 10+2 level examination .
Your age should be between 16 to 19 years at the time of applying either of these examinations .

In order to join the Naval Academy of National defence Academy through the NDA examination you should be
12th Class pass or the 10+2 level Examination pass with with Physics and Mathematics subjects of
School Education from an recognised institution or a CBSE Education board .

You must have passed 12th class or 10+2 level examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects with a total 70% marks from an recognised institution or a CBSE Education board .

Or if you have completed your graduation or are in the final year of your graduation than you can apply for the
Common Defence service ( CDS ) examination .
This Examination is also conducted by the Indian UPSC Government and is again conducted twice a year
by them as CDS - I Examination and CDS - II Examination .
To apply this examination and to enter the Indian Naval Academy than you should be an unmarried male candidate of India or any other Asian country and had permanently settled in India .

To enter the Indian Naval Academy through the CDS Examination your age should be between 19 to 22 years .
You should have Degree in Engineering or degree in B.Sc.along with Physics or Mathematics subjects for having an NCC entry.

So I think you might have got all the required information that you wanted to get .

    CDS - Combined Defense Services
This is also conducted by the UPSC but once in a year. Graduates from any stream are eligible for it and the age criteria is within 19-23 years for Air Force, 21-24 years for Army and Navy. Physical fitness is must for it as well, however they have some quotas also.

Lastly the UES - University Entry Scheme
This is conducted by the Navy itself and they have this entry scheme in which all the students who are in their final year of graduation are to apply for this. They conduct online exams and written exams and then call candidates based on their merit..

So you can apply for any of these posts. To know more Click Here for all such exams conducted year around..
