After passing the 12th class with the PCM subject you can apply for the defence services. The main exam is the NDA exam and you can also apply for the technical or non-technical jobs. The selection will be through the written test or physical round and in the air force your interview will also be held.

    Hello,

In order to join navy or air force after 12, one has to go through NDA followed by SSB interview. Similarly, after graduation one has to give CDS examination.

However after graduation, the no of ways to enter into defence increases like other than CDS examination, you can also opt for SSC,CET,AFCAT and EKT to become a part of air force.

However, each procedure is not completed without SSB interview. So it is mandatory and you have to go through it for being a part.

    Thank you

    hello friend,

It would be easy for me to tell you that how can you join air force or navy if you can tell us the what are education qualifications.

but still i will suggest some of the ways to join air force or navy:

    1) If you are a 12th passed student than you can apply for NDA (national defence academy).

the age limit for the same is 16 1/2 to 19 years.

and you have completed your 12th with physics and maths.
    2) if you are graduate pass student than you can go for CDS (combined defence services)

the age limit for the same is 19 to 23 years for air force.
the age limit for the same is 19 to 22 years for navy.
these are some of the ways to join air force and navy.

The NDA is common entry for all the wings of the defence, you need to select your preferences, but you need to have physics and maths in 10+2,to apply for the NDA.

Age limit-16.5 to 19 years(at the time of commencement of the course),not at the time of applying for the exam, but at the time when the exam is due to commence.
The NDA is conducted twice in a year and the notifications are released in the month of the May and December,in the website of the UPSC.
