Dear aspirant, Yes you can apply for air force through CDS combined defence services examination It is conducted twice in a year by UPSC to select candidates in various fields like indian army, air force and indian navy. There are some eligibility criteria that you need to satisfy before you apply for that:: 1) graduate in any discipline for indian army, graduate in engineering, physics and maths to apply for indian air force and navy. 2) your age should not exceed 23 years of age and should not be less than 19 years to apply for indian air force. If you apply for officers training academy then your age should not exceed 25 years and should not be less than 19 years. If you are applying for indian millitary academy then your age should not exceed 24 years and not be less than 19 years of age. If you are applying for naval academy then your age should not exceed 22 years and should not be less than 19 years of age. So you should take much care of your age before applying to any of the branch. Selection procedure is based on written test, SSB interview and medical examination, those who qualify all the steps then they will be selected guaranteed and those who unable to do so will be disqualified. You can also join air force through AFCAT air force common admission test. It consist of three branches flying, technical and ground duty. Age limit for technical will be 18 to 28 years, for flying branch 19 to 23 years and for ground duty branch maximum age limit goes till 27 years and minimum 20 years.
