Iam applying for GATE.my father is retired SUBEDAR (SIGNALS) from Indian army .At present he is taking a pension of Rs.15989.But my mother is house wife.what is the salary limit for govt servants that decides the creamy and non creamy layer?

Be clear about two things.............

1. Non-creamy layer is only for OBC's(Other Backward classes).
2. Those who having Annual Income less than 4.5 Lac can be eligible to apply for this means you are applicable.
