    What type of jobs are being given to the computer engineers in Indian Air Force?

    I am a computer engineer so want to know type of job offered to us in air force?

    looking for a good response.

    you can do ground jobs
    such as navigation,radar control, air traffic control,giving directions to pilot.

    Hi friend,
    For an computer engineer in Air Force very good jobs are provided such as looking after radar control, pilot control, control systems, control on air traffic etc.

    Hello,

    As a computer engineer you can apply for technical branch as well as for other department of Indian Air force like flying pilot and in ground duty.

    Through Engineering knowledge test (EKT), you can join the technical branch as well as through AFCAT also.

    AFCAT organizes the test for ll three flying, ground duty and technical.

    For Flying, you can apply through CDSE and SSC while for ground, you can apply through CET.

    yes , there are different types of jobs for you

    actually , there are TECHNCIAL POSTS for you in airforce

    * * you can also apply for the post of EXECUTIVE in AAI

    ** you can apply for the CDS EXAM

    this exam will conduct by upsc
    upsc- union public service commission

    this exam will conduct twice in every year

    so, you can apply for this exam


    --> you can also apply for the TES exam

    TES - TECHNICAL ENTRY SCHEME

    --> you can also apply for AFCAT EXAM

    afcat- airforce common admission test

    Hello friend,
    As a computer engineer a person is deployed to work as an engineer.
    His work is to work with Research and Development of softwares for Indian Defence.
    He can be also deployed in traffic control,or to check and control system break down
    The also work to check intranet and inter net services of Defence.

    a computer engineer can get a job in technical branch, ground duty as well as flying. for joining technical branch, you can apply through AFCAT and EKT. for flying you can apply through CDS and SSC and for ground duty you can apply through CET. jobs mainly include radar systems, air traffic control, navigation etc. and believe me the quality of life is such that people just dream about it.     You can apply in the Indian Air force as an officer in the Flying branch and Technical branch of Indian Air force after the completion of your computer engineering. You can apply through Air force common admission test and combined defence service examination.
    The eligibility required for both of the entry scheme is described in detail below;

    AFCAT exam
    You can join Indian Air force as an officer through AFCAT examination. This examination is conducted by the Indian Air force twice in a year. To apply for this examination a candidate should be graduate in any discipline and should have Physics and Maths at 10+2.
    In the Technical Branch only the engineering students are eligible. Those in pre final year of engineering may apply through UES.

    Age Limit
    FLYING BRANCH
    19-23 years

    TECHNICAL BRANCH
    18-28 years


    CDS exam
    You can also join Indian Air force as an officer through combined defence service examination. This examination is conducted by the UPSC twice in a year. To apply for this examination a candidate should be graduate in any discipline from the recognized university.
    Those appeared in the final year examination are also eligible to apply for this examination. Candidate applying for the Indian Air force and Navy through
    CDS examination should have physics and maths at 10+2 level.

    Age Limit
    Indian Military Academy 19-24 Years
    Air Force Academy 19-23 Years
    Naval Academy 19-22 Years
    Officers’ Training Academy 19-25 Years

    Yes you can apply for getting a job in Air Force after engg in Computer Science
    .you have to complete your engg from a recognised Board,
    your age should between 19 to 25 Years,
    these examinations after completing your BE,
    CDS Examination (Combined Defence Academy Examination)
    Direct Entry Scheme
    University Entry Scheme (UES)
    this examination is Conducted by UPSC Twice in a year for the Recruitment of
    IMA/OTA/NAVAL/Air Force Wings. To apply for CDS Examination,
    then you can join in Air Force.......

    If you want join in Indian Air force you have a Two Ways
    AFCAT-Air force common Admission Test
    This Exam Includes Three Branches
    Technical Branch:For Technical Branch should be completed Graduation with 60% Marks and age should be between 21-27 Years
    For Flying Branch :For Flying Branch should be completed Graduation with 60 % Marks and age should be between 20-25 Years
    Ground Duty Branch:For ground Duty Branch should be completed Graduation with 60% Marks and age should be between 19-23 Years
    About CDS:
    CDS Means Combined Defence Service
    This Examination is conducting by UPSC Two times in a Every Years and age should be between 19-23 Years and this Examination Includes Three Papers
    General Knowledge
    General English
    Elementary Maths
