    What are the ways to pursue a career in Defence forces being a girl with commerce background?

    i am a 2nd year commerce backround student .. i want to pursue a career in defence force.. Being a girl what are ways that i can pursue my dream??

    dear friend,
    You can apply for Army wing through defense service exam like- CDS.

    Through CDS exam you can apply for Indian Army wing after completion of graduation.

    Eligibility for CDS exam:-

    For Official Training Academy (SSC non technical women entry scheme):-

    1.Candidate must have complete the graduation in any trade.

    2.Candidates age should be in between 19-24 years.

    3.Candidate must be unmarried / widow/ divorced female..

    4.Candidate must be a citizen of India.


    These are the eligibility criteria you have to fulfill.
    So, go for it.

    Well ma'am here are some options for you to persue your dream:

    N.C.C (Special ) Entry Women :
    >> Age :- Your age should be between 19 to 25 years
    >> Educational qualification : You must be Graduate in any Discipline with 50% marks and 2 years Service in N.C.C Senior Div Army with Minimum 'B' grade in 'C' Certificate Exam.

    For Engineer Entry through Short service Commission Technical Women
    >> Age :- Your age should be 20 to 27 Years
    >> Educational qualification : You should be Engineering in notified Discipline from a recognized university.

    C.D.S Exam :
    This exam will held twice in a year which is conducted by U.P.S.C (Union Public Service Commission). You can join Indian army through the O.T.A (Officer training academy). for female entry.
    >> Age : Your age should be 19 to 25 years.
    >> Educational qualification :you should be graduate form a recognized university.

    Dear

    you can appear for the NDA exam to join in defence sector.

    If you have 60% mark for your +2, you can appear for this exam. By appearing this exam you can join in the Indian army.

    The age limit to appear for this exam is between the ages 16 1/2 to 19.

    You being a girl have options in indian defence AFTER GRADUATION.

    These options are......

    AIR FORCE COMMON ADMISSION TEST(AFCAT)
    Ground Duty Branches

    You must be a GRADUATE STUDENT.

    Age limit :Graduates ..20 to 23 yrs

    COMBINED DEFENSE SERVICES..
    This exam will held twice in a year which is conducted by U.P.S.C
    You can join Indian army through the O.T.A (Officer training academy). for female entry.
    Your age should be 19 to 25 years.
    You must be GRADUATE from any recognized university.

    WOMENS SPECIAL ENTRY SCHEME..
    Your age should be between 19 to 25 years
    You must be Graduate with 50% aggregate .

    SHORT SERVICE COMMISSION

    Dear friend a women can apply in defense service after their graduation and only for the officer level job as you have mention that you are a commerce student then you can only apply for the NO-tech jobs in all the defense service here the entries in which you can apply.

    For Army
    SSc non tech minimum graduation in any steam age limit 21 to 25 can apply
    CDS minimum qualification is graduation in any field age limit is 21 to 25 can apply

    For Air force

    Air traffic controller,accounts,logistics, etc for these age limit is 21 to 25 can apply.

    For Navy as same as in air force.
