    Where to send my child for 11th and 12th training for joining Defence?

    sir, i want to join my son in defence.he gave 10th class cbse exam this year . i want to join him in private or government junior college for 11th and 12th traning b`cos after that he is able to give defence exam. i want to know where i can send him for this .plz inform me as posibile as you can.

    Dear Friend,

    You can send your Child to NATIONAL DEFENCE COLLEGE,PUNE For Training in any one of the 3 Wings of Defence Services viz:
    • Army
    • Navy
    • Air force
    NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY EXAM is conducted to recruit candidates for pre commissioned Training in Defence services.
    NDA



    Duration of Training

    Training Duration will be of 4 years in which you will be awarded with the 3 Years Graduation Degree from prestigious JNU(Jawaharlal Nehru University).

    Eligibility Criteria

    ::You should be a 12th Pass with Physics & Maths as compulsory Subjects in 12th

    ::Age should be in between 16.5 - 19 years

    ::You should be a Unmarried Male

    ::You must be a citizen of India

    Physical Standards
    • ::You should not be less than 157.5 Cms for Males & 152 Cms for Females

    • ::Your Chest should be fully Expanded to Atleast 5cms from Normal.
    • You should be free from any disease like Fungus,Tonsils,Piles.

    you can send your child to national defense college, pune for training of defense.. Then your child can write in nda exam after his completion of +2. NDA STANDS FOR NATIONAL DEFENSE ACADEMY..

    you can send your son for coaching of exam for nda(national defence academy)
    this exam is conducted twice a year in april and august
    notification of the aprils exam comes in january
    and notification of august exam comes in april
    age 16.5-19 years
    indian
    unmarried
    physics and maths compulsary for airforce and navy with minimum 60% in aggregate in 12th
    without maths and physics not applicable for airforce and navy
    eligible only for army
    height 157.5 cm minimum

    now you can send your son to coaching classes for better results in any one of them :
    1.disha academy
    2.cavelier india
    3.some books to be referred are gk publications,arihant,gupta publications

    there are lot of coaching institutes in India which gives coaching to the students to join Indian Army. But these institutes only give little guidelines too the students. You ask your son to work hard. Some good coaching Institutes in India are :

    your child can give exam of NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADMEY after +2.
    and he has to prepare well to crack the exam.

    After 12 th class you can send your child to national defence academy(NDA).
    NDA is the entrance examination for
    army
    Navy
    Air force
    This examination is conducted twice in the year by the UPSC.
    The eligibilities of NDA examination:
    12 th from the disciplined university
    citizen of India
    age:16.5 to 19 years
    male and unmarried candidates
    good eye sight and medically fit..
    selection process:
    written examination
    SSB interview
    medical exam
    exam pattern:
    mathematics:300 marks.
    General ability:600 marks.

    hello

    your child can join defense field by cracking the NDA (which is called as national defense academy).

    NDA conducts by upsc 2 times in ayear

    by clearing the exam one can be a part of either

    1)army wing

    2)navy wing

    3)air force wing

    before that he has to fulfill its criteria which are listed below:=

    *age limit= born between 02nd January, 1995 to 01st July, 1998 only are eligible for apply

    *educational qualification=1) for indian army=12th passed in any stream
    2)indian navy and indian air force=12th passed in maths and physics

    and even 12th standard students can also apply

    *no backlog
    *mentally and physically sounds healthy
    *free from diseases and disorders
    *eye sight=6/6 or 6/12 with or without glasses
    *height=minimum fo 157 cm for men
    *unmarried
    *male only (women are not allowed to appear for NDA EXAM)

    Hello,
    There may be a situation for parents like you wher you may like ur child to complete his/her Graduation in other branches like engineering or humanities or any other course from local college and u may like him/her to join Defence after Graduataion.
    IT then becomes important that your child must prepare form 10th-12th itself for Defence services.
    Sankalp IAS Forum in Mumbai(Dadar & Thane) is conducting a Young officer course on every Sunday.I think this can be the best possible Option in this case.
