    Hello friend,

I'am sorry to say that you are not eligible for writing the CDSE exam. There are two examinations conducted by UPSC and both are conducted for entry into services. One can apply for NDA examination after 12th but for CDSE one should have a Graduation degree. The stream of academics depends on the type of service one is applying for. Also the age limit for these examinations are different. Both of these examinations are for Defense Services but the type of work and positions are completely different. The maximum age limit for NDA examination is 19 years whereas the minimum age limit for CDSE examination is 19 years. Therefore it can be said that one can be eligible for only one of these two examination at a time.

For more details about these examination visit the UPSC official website.

    Hey friend,

No,a +2 student cannot apply for the CDS Exam as you don't satisfy the education qualification for the exam

This exam is conducted for candidates to join in defence forces like:

    Indian Military Academy

    Indian Navy

    Indian Air Force

    Officer Training Academy

As you have asked for the information about joining in IMA or OTA ,you need to satisfy the eligibility criteria needed for applying for the CDS Exam and they may include such as:

    Nationality:

    > The candidate need to be a citizen of India

    Martial Status:

    > The candidate need to be a unmarried male candidate

    Age Limits:

    For IMA:

    > Age limit needed for joining in IMA is that the candidate must have 19-24 years

    For OTA:

    > The candidate need to have 19-25 years for joining in OTA

    Education Qualification:

    > The candidate need to have completed a degree from a recognized university for joining in IMA and OTA

You need to satisfy all the eligibility criteria for joining in IMA and OTA.You have not satisfied the education qualification needed for the exam which makes you ineligible for the CDS Exam

    Hey friend,

    CDS - Combined Defence Service

This exam is conducted by UPSC in order for candidates to join in defence forces like:
    • Indian Military Academy
    • Indian Navy
    • Indian Air Force
    • Officer Training Academy
Being a +2 candidate you cannot join in CDS as the minimum qualification regarding the education is that the candidate must have completed a degree in any discipline from a recognized university.

As you have asked for joining in IMA or OTA both requires the candidate to have completed a degree

You need to also possess the age limit for joining in IMA and OTA and it is that the candidate must have 19-24 years for joining in IMA.

For joining in OTA the candidate need to have a age limit of 19-25 years

And it is to specify that only unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply for the exam

So,it is better that you continue your studies, finish your degree in any discipline and then apply for the exam.
