for ground duty branch job in air-force one needs to crack the FACT exam.
under the ground duty branch one can go for a job in the following sub-divisions.
    >Administration branch
    >Accounts Branch
    >Logistics Branch
    >Education branch

one needs to have completed graduation for a recognized university for a job in this field.
moreover minimum 60% marks is needed in graduation to be eligible.

as you have only 54% in graduation , you cannot appear for the AFCAT exam.

    good luck

    Friend,

If you apply on the Basis of the B.E Graduation aggregate marks then you are Not eligible for the AFCAT exam But If you apply for the Indian Air force ( Ground Duty) after the Post Graduation the you are eligible for the Ground Duty and also you must Hold Minimum 50% in the Post Graduation.

So It is Better for you have to apply for the AFCAT exam after the Post Graduation. The Ground Duty Different Branches eligibilities are

    # Education
The candidates must complete Post Graduation in any discipline from the recognized college with Minimum aggregate of 50%

    >>For this Field you are eligible

    # Accounts
The candidates have to complete Post Graduation in the field of CA/ICWA/M.Com/ with Minimum aggregate of 50% .
If you apply for the after the Graduation then you need to have aggregate of 60%

    >> For this field you are eligible ( if you complete Post Graduation with minimum aggregate of 50%)

    #Administration and Logistics
The candidates have to complete Graduation with minimum aggregate of 60%
If you apply after the post Graduation then you need to have minimum 50% aggregate

    >> For this field you are eligible ( if you complete Post Graduation with minimum aggregate of 50%)

    Thank You

The eligibility for Ground Duty branch in AFCAT is 60% aggregate in Graduation.Your final year marks will not be seen separately.Your aggregate will be counted based on complete BE.You will not be eligible with these marks. You can go for Post Graduate entry in Ground duty branch if you score above 55% in Post graduation but age limit is 20-25years.
