On seeing your Query , here two cases will appear

If you are in Final year of Engineering , then surely you can apply for the UES exam (University Entry Scheme)

** The Most important point that you should remember in this case is , If you get selected now , then surely you should complete your Backlogs and you should have a minimum of 60% in B.tech . You should clear your Backlof before joining the Job .

As you are applying for the exam in your Final year , your age shouldbe in between 19-25 years only
You shouldbe a citizen of India

Generally , the Defence officer will visits your college and conducts mock interview there and selects the candidates who have performed well

You will have Written exam .
The candidates who have passed in Written exam will have SSB Interview .
Later , the candidates will have Medical Test .

    Case-2 :-

If your 4 year period of B.tech is been over and still you havenot completed Backlog which you have in your Final year ,then you are not eligible for the UES exam
