Re: Eligibility criteria of Indian Army for 24 years old M.A. in Economics pursuing girl candidate having NCC "C" certificate?

    Hello

There were two entries in Indian Army with a non technical degree and with that having a NCC certificate.

Combined Defense Service Examination. It allows to apply for IMA and OTA.
Both are entry in India Army.
    IMA-Indian Military Academy-Permanent Commission.
    OTA-Officer Training Academy-Short Service Commission.

In order to apply for IMA and OTA one only needs to have a degree in any stream.
Now as you are a girl, you can not apply for IMA.as IMA is only for boys.
Girls are only offered Short Service Commission in Indian Army, hence you can only apply for OTA.

Age limit of OTA is 19 to 25 years.
At the time of commencement of the course, not at the time of applying.

    Another entry is SSCW(NCC) entry.
Educational qualification required is Graduation from any stream with 50% marks.
    Along with the NCC certificate.

Age limit is 19 to 25 years.
At the time of commencement of the course, not at the time of applying.

These are the only two entries possible in Indian Army for you.
